The HKD Bluetooth 4.0 Module CC2541 (HM-10) is a compact, low-power Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE 4.0) wireless communication module designed for short-range data transmission in embedded, IoT, and wearable applications. Based on the Texas Instruments CC2541 chipset, this module delivers stable BLE connectivity while maintaining very low power consumption, making it ideal for battery-powered devices.

Operating in the 2.4GHz ISM band, the HM-10 supports both Central and Peripheral roles, allowing flexible point-to-point or device-to-device communication. It uses GFSK modulation and provides reliable wireless links with strong sensitivity ( -84dBm) and transmission power up to 4dBm, ensuring dependable performance in typical indoor environments.

The module communicates via a simple UART serial interface, enabling easy integration with popular microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP, STM32, and PIC. Configuration and control are handled using AT commands, making setup straightforward even for beginners. Standard BLE UUID services FFE0 and FFE1 are supported for transparent serial data transmission.

With built-in authentication and encryption, the CC2541 module ensures secure wireless communication for smart devices and control systems. Its small footprint and low operating current make it particularly suitable for compact designs where space and power efficiency are critical.
