Description

The HKD SIM900 GSM/GPRS Shield is a versatile wireless communication module based on the SIM900 chipset from SIMCOM, designed to easily integrate GSM/GPRS functionality into your projects. It allows you to send and receive SMS, MMS, voice calls, GPRS data, and audio using simple AT commands via UART.

Supporting quad-band GSM frequencies (850/900/1800/1900 MHz), it works worldwide on most GSM networks. The module also provides 12 GPIOs, 2 PWMs, and an ADC, offering flexibility for custom applications. With its embedded TCP/UDP stack, you can connect your project directly to the internet, upload data to a server, or build IoT systems such as remote monitoring and tracking devices.

Ideal for IoT, M2M, vehicle tracking, smart appliances, and wireless sensor networks, the SIM900 shield is a reliable choice for GSM/GPRS-based communication.
