This 5-meter reel uses high-quality 5050 SMD LEDs (60 LEDs per meter) and WS2811 IC control, allowing groups of 3 LEDs to be addressed together. Unlike WS2812 strips that allow per-LED control, the WS2811 operates by segment, offering a cost-effective solution with smooth color transitions and programmable effects.
Operating at 12V DC with a power consumption of 14.4W per meter, the strip delivers bright, vivid RGB colors across a wide 120 viewing angle. The IP20 rating makes it suitable for indoor use, while its slim 10mm PCB width ensures easy installation in channels, cabinets, or decorative housings.
Perfect for DIY projects, signage, stage lighting, or holiday decorations, the strip can be easily wired using its standard connections: Red for positive, White for negative, and Green for data input.
