It has the same antenna array and spatial streams (2x2:2) but has a 2.5 GbE uplink port and four 1 GbE downlink ports for hardwired devices. The AP22D is great for IP phones or receipt printers in areas that need more Ethernet ports and only one in-room Ethernet port is available.
