Description
This USB 2.0 to RS232 adapter, model HXSP-2118D, connects RS232 serial devices directly to a USB port on a laptop or computer. It is USB Powered / Powered by USB, so no separate power supply is needed. The converter supports plug and play and hot swap after the driver is installed, and it meets the RS232 standard with USB 2.0 downward compatibility. It works with mini phones, digital cameras, MODEM and ISDN terminal adapters, and suits Win 98, 98se, ME, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, Linux, OS X laptops and Wince. Housing is plastic and metal.
