Ibanez PF16WCE-NT Advanced Acoustic-Electric Guitar

The PF16WCE features a dreadnought body with a Venetian cutaway constructed of a laminated spruce top on laminated okume sides and back with a high gloss finish. The round soundhole has an acrylic pearloid rosette and a red tortoise pickguard. The nyatoh neck meets the body at the 14th fret and has a wide 20-fret laurel fingerboard with ivory binding and small white dot position markers. Components include a compensated plastic saddle in a laurel bridge with ivory Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a plastic nut, and Ibanez chrome open gear tuning machines with half moon buttons. The electronics consist of an Ibanez under saddle pickup connected to an AEQ-2T preamp with on-board tuner powered by a 9V battery and feeding a 1/4 stereo output jack.

These pins really are an advantage over old-fashioned pins. Advantage pins are easier to take out and easier to put in than standard pins. A special bulb-shaped end makes the pin easy to grip and also prevents the pin from being pushed in too far. Best of all, with Advantage the pin and string stay put.
