Important Notes - Please Read Before Buying:

• 2.4GHz WiFi ONLY - The C1C connects only to 2.4GHz WiFi networks (not 5GHz). Modern dual-band routers (most South African ISP routers) broadcast both, so this isn't usually a problem - but make sure your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz network during setup. If you've disabled the 2.4GHz band on your router, you'll need to re-enable it.
• INDOOR USE ONLY - The C1C is not weatherproof. Mount it indoors only. For outdoor coverage, choose a weatherproof EZVIZ outdoor camera instead.
• MicroSD Card Sold Separately - Local recording requires a microSD card (up to 256GB). The camera works without one (live view + alerts), but you won't be able to review recorded footage. EZVIZ CloudPlay subscription is an alternative for cloud storage.
• Push Notifications Must Be Activated - Per supplier note, instant alerts need to be enabled manually in the EZVIZ App during setup. Default behaviour might be alerts off - switch them on in the app settings.

Care and Maintenance:

• Wipe the camera lens with a soft microfibre cloth periodically to keep the picture clear. Dust on the lens shows up in every frame.
• Position the camera away from direct sunlight pointing into the lens - bright direct light washes out the image and shortens the sensor's lifespan.
• Keep the camera in a place where the ambient temperature stays moderate. Avoid extreme heat (closed cars, hot ceilings, near radiators).
• If the camera goes offline, restart your WiFi router first - most "broken" smart cameras are actually network issues. If still offline, power-cycle the camera by unplugging it for 10 seconds.
