Description

Key Selling Features

When the power drops, the devices a household misses first are the small ones: the router, the modem, the camera by the gate. The Inkwenkwezi POE-431P mini DC UPS is a compact backup supply built for exactly that job, keeping low-power network and security equipment running from a built-in lithium battery when the mains supply fails.

Inside the case are four 3000mAh cells, a combined cell capacity of 12000mAh. The unit accepts 100-240Vac at 50-60Hz on the input side and delivers up to 17W across three outputs. The first is a 5V USB/DC port rated 2.5A. The second is a DC port that you set with a switch to either 9V at 1.8A or 12V at 1.35A. The third is a POE port that you set to either 15V at 1A or 24V at 0.63A. Output polarity is centre positive. That makes the unit a practical fit for a router or modem, a wireless phone, a CCTV camera, a bridge, a POS terminal and other low-power smart devices.

Setup is deliberately simple. The unit starts automatically when it is plugged in, a manual power-off switch lets you shut the outputs down when you choose to, and multi-LED status indicators show the battery state at a glance. Protection covers overload and short circuit, over-charge and over-discharge, electric leakage, static and high temperature, so the battery is looked after during everyday use.

The housing measures 160 x 105 x 28mm and weighs 0.38kg, so it fits beside a router or behind a desk without taking over the space. Country of origin as marked on the packaging: China.
