With InstaForm Reusable Hand Mouldable Plastic Pellets you can create things and fix things.

InstaForm is a revolutionary thermoplastic that melts in hot water and can be moulded by hand. It's ideal for model making, prototyping, and creating custom components. Once cooled, it becomes a strong, tough engineering-grade plastic but can be reheated and reshaped multiple times. It becomes workable at about 50 to 60 degress celcius. Once it has cooled down again you have a strong plastic object.

Applications / Uses

• Create custom mounts, brackets or housings for electronics, gadgets or 4×4 accessories.
• Repair broken plastic parts, join components together, fill voids or plug holes.
• Use for model making, cosplay props, orthopaedic aids, handles or small tooling jigs.
• Vacuum-forming moulds, small scale modelling, DIY crafting.

• Density: ~1.10 g/cm (at 25 C)
• Melting Point: 60-63 C
• Reusable at low temperature

How to Use

• Heat water to about 60 C (140 F).
• Pour the InstaForm pellets into the hot water.
• After approx. 2 minutes, the pellets will turn clear and stick together - signalling they are ready to be removed.
• Remove from water, drain off excess water, then mould by hand or by pressing around an object. Let it cool to set.
• If you wish to re-shape later, simply re-immerse in hot water and repeat.

Warnings:

• Avoid overheating (risk of burns).
• Releases small amounts of CO and H O over 6-12 months - not ideal for permanent installations.
• Keep away from fire and children.
• Handle with care when melted.
