Isopon - Aluminium Repair Mesh 25 x 20cm - 3 Pack

Isopon Aluminium Repair Mesh, made in the UK by U-POL, gives filler something solid to grip when you're repairing holes too big for filler on its own.

Fix the mesh behind or over the hole, then cover it with Isopon P40 Glass Fibre filler or a body filler for a strong, lasting repair.

Each sheet is 25 x 20cm and can be cut with scissors to fit the hole.

This pack contains three sheets: enough for several rust holes or one larger repair.

How to use:

• Remove rust and loose paint around the hole, and sand back to clean, bare metal.
• Cut the mesh about 2cm larger than the hole all round.
• Press it into place behind or over the hole, shaping it to the panel.
• Mix the filler with hardener and press it firmly through and over the mesh.
• When hard, sand smooth, then prime and paint.
