Mazwi Nxumalo is a teenager from the rural areas of Nongoma who chose to drop out of school and found himself living in the darkness of the Glebelands hostel. Coming out of his poverty-stricken family made problems pile up for Mazwi. He runs away with a mysterious man and his henchmen who kill a man somewhere in the Nongoma forest. After getting used to the ways of the taxi rank in Durban and everything related to the taxi industry, Mazwi finds himself being trained to shoot by the corrupt policemen who are friends of his boss, Zenzele. When he visited Nongoma's home, he became enraged and killed his friend who went to school and played with him in the local football team after hearing that he had impregnated his lover, S'ma. Enraged by Mazwi's act of murder, realizing that it will get out of hand, Zenzele decides that it is time to take him to the moon so that he can be strong and bear again. After completing the carryover, Mazwi turns into an unrepentant killing machine. As the bodies pile up, including the police investigating his crimes, so does his obsession with drug-cured bullets and the love of a woman his superiors believe will destroy him. His father's death reveals a shocking story about this young man's recruitment to become a villain, and he will take everyone close to him on this dangerous journey.
