JD Percussion JDKBS-2A Medium Wooden Cabasa

• Inject a crisp, energetic rhythmic layer into your acoustic sets, studio sessions, or classroom drum circles with the JDKBS-2A Medium Wooden Cabasa.
• This modernized take on the classic West African beaded gourd provides percussionists, educators, and music therapists with a highly responsive, mid-sized texture instrument that balances fast rhythmic precision with an upfront, bright acoustic projection.
• The instrument is engineered with a textured stainless steel cylinder securely anchored to a solid hardwood frame and an elongated grip handle.
• Wrapped around this metallic surface are loops of heavy-duty, steel-beaded chains that glide smoothly over the serrated shell.
• Thanks to its medium sizing, the JDKBS-2A delivers a tight, bright, and controlled metallic rattle that cuts cleanly through live acoustic arrangements or recorded mixes without dominating the lower frequencies.
• Designed for fluid, effortless handling, the ergonomic wooden handle distributes the physical weight evenly, reducing hand and wrist fatigue during extended performances.
• The mid-sized footprint fits comfortably in smaller hands, making it exceptionally adaptive and easy to control.
• It requires very little range of movement to produce a clear, crisp sound-making it a perfect tool for developing fine motor skills and tactile rhythm coordination.
