1. Do I need a First Flush Diverter if I install a Rainhead?

   • While the Rainhead handles leaves and larger debris, the First Flush Diverter (sold separately) handles the initial contaminated runoff (dust, chemicals, bird droppings) from the roof surface. For the best water quality, both are recommended.

2. How is the Rainhead installed?

   • It is installed on the downpipe above the pipe that feeds the water to the tank. The downpipe is cut, and the Rainhead is installed underneath it using PVC weld glue (glue sold separately).

3. What is the correct gap between the downpipe and the Rainhead?

   • JoJo recommends leaving a gap of at least 40 mm to 80 mm between the bottom of the downpipe and the screen of the Rainhead. This allows for easy access for cleaning and prevents debris buildup.
