Get this Easy-to-Assemble KarooBraai Flat Pack Table Braai Insert with its durable, heavy duty Fire Starter and Ash Pan, including the precision laser-cut KarooBraai branded braai grid.
This Basic Insert Braai is CNC laser-cut from Grade 304 Stainless Steel and prepared in a way anyone could easily put together.

Did you Know:
Normal fire grates eventually disintegrate resulting from high temperature reached in open fires!
Strength loss (loss of temper) for steel is generally accepted to begin at about 300 C and increases rapidly after 400 C.
At 427 C, steel retains approximately 60 percent of its yield strength!
At 566 C, carbon steel only retains approximately 50 percent of its yield strength and 45% of its stiffness!

The maximum temperature that a wood-burning fire can reach depends on several factors, including the type of wood, airflow, and combustion conditions.
Under optimal conditions, such as sufficient airflow and dry wood, temperatures in a wood-burning fire can typically range from 1100 C to 1200 C.
Where the high heat of the fire matters, we incorporated 3mm thick Grade 3CR12 stainless steel for the fire starter components, and the V-shaped Ash Pan - leaving virtually no room for unnecessary warpage in the product when used as intended.
Special braces on the back combined with a front bottom brace, ensure this unit is unbreakable in its intended use.
With only 6 bolts and nuts used in the assembly, the basic braai is assembled - add another 8 bolts and nuts and the fire starter is assembled and part of this unique braai and ready to light the fire for your braai.
The special braces slide through the side panel of the fire starter in a way where the fire starter does not 'hang' or is hooked on as per conventional braais. This fire starter is not removable after assembly and has a front support to further assist with maintaining the original state of the braai for many years to come!
And, to add to the lifespan of a single, often forgotten component of the fire starter, we supply a ember grid inside the fire starter manufactured from 10mm thick solid grade 304 stainless steel roundbar!

What better than to have a precision cut, food grade 3043 stainless steel braai grid that will last a lifetime?
Three height adjustments for this KarooBraai branded braai grid are standard on the sides of this item and allows easy handling using the handle cut-outs in the grid.
Additional side support is added to all KarooBraai Laser Braai Grids. And, as a bonus, it is easy to clean!

IMPORTANT NOTE:
When selecting your braai, be sure to allow sufficiently for out-of-square building work.
If in doubt, get someone to assist with a second opinion to confirm your measurements of your braai aperture.

With an overall width of 105cm and depth of 450mm deep (front to back) you are sure to have enough braai surface.
The KarooBraai Flat-Pack Insert Braai with Fire Starter and Ash Pan can fit into existing braai openings, or simply be used as a table braai.

CARING FOR YOUR BRAAI GRID:
Braai Grids last much longer when put over the fire once embers are ready for your braai.
It is not recommended to put the grid over the fire before the embers are ready.
This rule generally applies to all types of braai grids and laser braai grids are no exception.
