"The Waldeyer was an absolute must. ...] This book was worth its weight in gold: Didactically and with respect to content, it connected anatomy with physiology and- even more important- it related anatomy to clinical and 'real' life. ...] I kept the Waldeyer on my desk for many years, especially when I began surgical training. But even today I keep the 17th edition of the Waldeyer in my office. You never know..."
