Kushy 90ml Rooting Gel with 48 Pack Propagation Glue Plugs

The complete propagation combination for starting cuttings and clones.

This propagation set combines 90ml rooting gel with pre-moistened Jiffy Glue Plugs, providing a convenient way to root cuttings and establish young plants before potting on.

How to Take Cuttings

1. Use sharp, clean scissors, a scalpel or a dedicated propagation blade.
2. Cut the stem at approximately a 45 angle, preferably just below a healthy node.
3. Immediately place the cutting in water to help prevent it from drying out.
4. Remove the lower leaves and unwanted shoots.
5. Dip the cut end into the rooting gel or rooting powder.
6. Insert the cutting into the Glue Plug.
7. Trim large leaves or leaf tips if necessary to reduce moisture loss.
8. Keep the cutting in a warm, humid propagation environment.
9. Under suitable propagation conditions, roots may develop within approximately 5-14 days, depending on the plant variety and growing conditions.

90ml Rooting Gel

The 90ml bottle provides enough rooting gel for many cuttings, making it suitable for both home propagation and larger propagation projects.

Gel ingredients:

• 3g Indole-3-butyric Acid (IBA)
• 1g Naphthalene Acetic Acid (NAA)
• 1g Vitamin B

Jiffy Glue Plugs

The Glue Plugs are packed by Kushy and manufactured by Jiffy and are supplied pre-moistened, so they can be used straight from the packaging without first soaking them in water.

The plugs are made from a peat-based substrate with a structure designed to provide good water retention while supporting root development. The absence of a surrounding net allows the developing roots to grow freely when the cutting is eventually potted on.
