Description
FULL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The LadderSafe SA Ladder Lockdown is a robust ladder stabilisation solution designed to reduce the risk of ladder movement, slipping, and sinking on a wide range of surfaces.
Manufactured locally from 2 mm mild steel and finished with a durable powder-coated coating, the Ladder Lockdown offers enhanced corrosion resistance and long-term durability for both indoor and outdoor use. The top surface is fitted with heavy-duty grip tape, providing a secure standing area for ladder feet, while the underside features slip-resistant rubber pads to minimise movement on smooth surfaces such as tiles, paving, and concrete.
For soft or uneven ground conditions, the system includes two 100 mm stainless steel ground spikes that help prevent the ladder from shifting or sinking into grass, sand, or mud. A 25 mm ratchet strap is supplied to securely fasten the ladder to the lockdown base, adding an extra layer of safety during use.
The spikes and strap are stored in a rip-stop canvas carry bag, keeping all components together and protected when not in use.
Designed to accommodate ladders with feet up to 610 mm wide, the LadderSafe SA Ladder Lockdown is ideal for tradesmen, contractors, and home users who prioritise ladder safety.
