Description
The Lear 2P Surge Arrester (20-40 kA) is a durable, DIN rail-mounted device engineered to protect low-voltage electrical systems. It effectively shields your equipment and wiring from damaging surges and transient over-voltages caused by lightning or switching actions. Perfect for residential, commercial, and industrial power panels, this arrester ensures the safety of your sensitive electronics and enhances the overall reliability of your electrical system.
Features:
- Two-pole (2P) design for full circuit protection of both phase and neutral or phase-to-phase depending on application.
- High discharge capacity - nominal discharge current in the 20 kA class and maximum discharge current up to 40 kA (8/20 s waveform).
- Fast response time to clamp surges quickly and protect downstream equipment.
- Voltage protection level (Up) maintained at a low level to minimize stress on connected loads.
- DIN rail mounting for easy installation in distribution boards.
- Compact enclosure suitable for installation near the point of entry of supply or within sub-distribution boards.
- Visible indicator window to display device status and end-of-life condition.
Specifications:
- Rated nominal discharge current (In, 8/20 s waveform): 20 kA
- Maximum discharge current (Imax, 8/20 s waveform): 40 kA
- Poles: 2P (two-pole)
- Response time: < 25 ns typical
- Mounting: Standard DIN 35 mm rail mount in distribution board
