When Bryon Katie found herself at a complete dead end in life she felt trapped in a cycle of despair and rage. Then one morning, she woke up in a state of absolute joy, filled with the freedom of knowing her suffering had passed.

Determined to give people a way to discover for themselves what she had experienced, Katie developed 'The Work': a simple, four-step programme to help pinpoint the problems that are troubling you and how to tackle them effectively. A life-transforming system for discarding the stories that are at the source of our suffering, this is your guide to finding inner peace and happiness.
