Ludus-X Combat Mouthguard ThermoGrip At-Home Moulding Instructions:

The ThermoGrip Fit System allows you to create a secure custom fit at home without the need for a dental appointment.

What you will need:

• Pot or kettle
• Hot water
• Tongs or a spoon
• Bowl of cool water.

1. Heat water until it reaches a boil, then remove it from the heat source.

2. Place the mouthguard fully into the hot water and leave it submerged for approximately 2 minutes so the ThermoGrip material becomes soft and pliable.

3. Carefully remove the mouthguard using tongs or a spoon and allow it to cool for 5 to 10 seconds so it remains soft but comfortable to place in your mouth.

4. Position the mouthguard over your upper teeth and center it properly. Bite down using about 75 percent of your jaw strength and hold for approximately 10 seconds.

5. Slightly open your mouth and use your fingers to press and shape the softened material around your teeth. Press along the front of the teeth, along the inside near the tongue, and along the gumline so the material conforms closely to the natural contours of your teeth.

6. Continue alternating between biting down firmly and pressing the guard around the teeth until the material cools and begins to hold its shape.

7. Once the shape is formed, place the mouthguard into cool water for 1 to 2 minutes to lock in the final structure.

A correctly fitted guard should feel snug and secure on the upper teeth, remain in place without needing to clench, and allow comfortable breathing and speaking. If the fit is not ideal, the ThermoGrip material can be remoulded by repeating the same process.

This mouthguard is suitable for athletes aged 12 and older and is not designed for use with braces. Rinse the guard with cool water after use and store it in the provided vented case to maintain hygiene and airflow.
