MELCURA HoneyBalm is a topical balm for the treatment
of superficial wounds (e.g. abrasions, grazes) and irritations caused by
dermatological conditions such as eczema. MELCURA HoneyBalm contains
avocado oil and multi-floral honey. The avocado oil moisturises and nourishes
the skin and improves wound healing. The honey used in MELCURA HoneyBalm
has bacteriostatic properties and a low pH that promotes an optimal skin/wound
healing environment. The sugar in the honey has an osmotic effect that reduces
swelling and softens and moisturises the tissues resulting n healing of the
wound/skin condition.
