Step 1 - Measure Your Opening: Measure the width of your door opening. This gate fits openings from 75cm to 82cm (29-32 inches) wide. If your opening is wider, please purchase an extension (sold separately).

Step 2 - Prepare the Wall Cups: Attach the threaded wall cups to the wall or door frame at the appropriate height. These cups provide extra stability and prevent the gate from slipping.

Step 3 - Position the Gate: Extend the gate to fit your opening. The gate will display a GAP on the handle before installation - this is normal and will close when properly installed.

Step 4 - Pressure Mount: Tighten the pressure mount knobs by hand until the gate is firmly in place. Do not over-tighten. Ensure the gate is level and the handle is centred.

Step 5 - Test Stability: After installation, gently push and pull the gate to test stability. The gap on the handle should now be eliminated. If the gate is loose, re-tighten the pressure mount knobs.

Step 6 - Test the Lock: Test the one-button release lock to ensure it operates smoothly. Adults should be able to open it easily, but it should be difficult for children and pets to operate.
