A key member of the Impressionist movement, Claude Monet (1840â1926) painted more than 250 canvases inspired by the play of light and colour upon the lily pond at his Giverny home. This Paperblanks Embellished Manuscript journal sets an 1888 letter written by Monet to Berthe Morisot, a fellow Impressionist, against a backdrop of one of these famous oil paintings.
