IMPORTANT: First-Time Use Instructions

To get the paint flowing for the very first time, please follow these simple activation steps:

1. Shake well: Keep the cap on and shake the marker vigorously for 30 seconds to mix the paint pigment.
2. Pump the nib: Place the marker tip-down on a piece of scrap paper. Press the nib down firmly and release.
3. Be patient: Repeat this pumping action steadily. It can take up to 60 seconds of continuous pumping for the paint to completely saturate the nib.
4. Ready to write: Once the tip fills with colour, you are ready to create! Keep the cap tightly sealed when not in use.
