Train harder, sleep deeper, breathe better.
RestUp Nasal Strips sit across the bridge of the nose and gently lift the nostrils open from the outside. No medication, nothing inhaled, nothing to get used to.
Soft silk-feel fabric in black camo, so it matches the rest of your kit instead of standing out on your face.
If you lie down at night and can't get air through your nose, this is for you. Works for congestion, hayfever, sinus pressure, a deviated septum, a head cold, or training when your nose can't keep up. It also helps snoring, as long as your snoring starts in the nose. See "Good to know" below.
How to make it stick (worth 30 seconds)
Most strips that fall off come down to one thing: what's on your skin.
- Wash the nose and dry it completely. Water is fine, just make sure it's properly dry.
- Apply before your night cream, serum, sunscreen or facial oil, not after. This is the single most common reason a strip lifts during the night.
- Use a mirror. Centre the strip across the bridge so both pads sit on the soft flare of each nostril, not too high, and clear of your eyes.
- Press and hold for 30 seconds, working from the centre outward to the ends.
Get those four right and it should hold all night.
Taking it off without pulling your skin
Don't yank it off dry. The adhesive is designed to hold for a full night, and dry-peeling is what causes redness across the bridge.
- Loosen it with warm water first, or take it off in the shower.
- Peel slowly from each end inward, following the skin rather than pulling away from it.
- Any leftover residue lifts with a little micellar water or facial oil.
- If your skin feels tender, skip a night. It's not designed to be worn 24/7.
Perfect for
- Blocked noses, congestion and sinus pressure at night
- Hayfever and allergy season
- A deviated septum, or a nose that's narrower on one side
- Runners, cyclists, gym-goers and athletes
- Anyone who wants a strip that stays put all night
Features
- Silk-feel fabric. Soft on skin with a strong hold
- Hypoallergenic medical-grade adhesive. Holds a full night when applied to clean, dry skin
- Drug-free. Nothing inhaled, nothing taken
- 30 strips per pack
Benefits
- Easier nasal breathing when you're congested or blocked
- Less mouth-breathing at night, so less waking up with a dry throat
- Better airflow during training and recovery
- Comfortable enough to forget you're wearing it
Storage
- Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
- Keep the pack sealed between uses so the adhesive stays at full strength.
Pairs with
Nasal strips lift the nose open from the outside. Mouth tape keeps the lips closed so you actually use it. Plenty of customers run both together. The RestUp Travel Tin keeps a fortnight's supply flat and clean in a gym bag or suitcase.
Good to know
- Where snoring comes from matters. These strips lift the nose open from the outside, so they help most when snoring is driven by congestion or a narrow nose. Snoring that starts further back, in the throat, soft palate or tongue, won't respond to a nasal strip, whatever the brand.
- Quick way to tell before you buy: lie down, close your mouth and breathe in through your nose. If it feels blocked, tight or noisy, a strip is likely to help. If your nose feels clear and you still snore, the snoring is starting further back and a nasal strip won't fix it.
- Very heavy congestion limits the effect. The strip lifts the outside of the nose. It can't clear a fully blocked one.
- One size, designed for adult noses. If you've worn nasal strips before, these sit in the same place and work the same way.
- Adhesive: hypoallergenic and medical-grade. If you react to plasters or surgical tape, patch-test on your forearm first.
- Pregnancy: drug-free, non-medicated and worn externally, but check with your doctor or midwife before use, as with anything during pregnancy.
- Drug-free and not a medical device. It doesn't diagnose or treat any condition, and it isn't a substitute for medical advice about your breathing or sleep.
