The Nikon Monarch M5 12x42 is part of the next generation of Nikon's acclaimed Monarch series, succeeding the Monarch 5 with a completely redesigned exterior featuring clean, straight lines for a more comfortable, sophisticated hold. Extra-low dispersion ED glass corrects chromatic aberration to eliminate color fringing, delivering a contrast-rich, high-resolution image whether you're watching birds at distance or scanning open terrain.

Multilayer coating on every lens and prism, combined with dielectric high-reflective multilayer coating and phase-correction coating on the roof prisms, ensures a bright view with natural, true color fidelity across the full field of view. A long eye relief design keeps the full field of view clear and comfortable, even for eyeglass wearers.

Built for outdoor reliability, the Monarch M5 is waterproof to 1m for 10 minutes and fully fogproof, sealed with O-rings and purged with nitrogen gas. A lightweight fibreglass-reinforced polycarbonate body keeps it easy to carry all day, wrapped in shock-resistant rubber armor for a firm, secure grip. Turn-and-slide multi-click eyecups make it easy to find the correct eyepoint, and a flip-down objective lens cap and soft-touch neck strap round out a thoughtful, field-ready package. An optional tripod adapter is available for steady, hands-free viewing.
