Weather Resistant Brick Dressing

Nova Coatings 01 Novabrik is a weather-resistant brick dressing designed to enhance the natural appearance of porous brickwork and masonry surfaces while providing water-repellent protection against weather exposure. The penetrating solvent-based formula dries to a low-build satin finish that resists flaking, peeling and chalking while helping maintain the natural character of brick and masonry surfaces. Suitable for interior and exterior vertical porous surfaces.

WHERE TO USE

HOW TO USE

• Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from dirt or loose contamination
  
• Remove contamination using a hard bristle brush or wire brush where required
  
• Allow new surfaces to cure for at least 4 weeks before application
  
• Confirm substrate porosity before use

Porosity Test:

• Apply droplets of water to the surface
  
• Immediate absorption indicates a suitable surface
  
• Water remaining after 2-3 minutes indicates an unsuitable surface

• Stir thoroughly before use
  
• Product is supplied ready to use - do not dilute
  
• Apply a thin even coat using a brush
  
• Work product thoroughly into the substrate
  
• Apply a second light coat after 24 hours if required

Critical: Not suitable for floors, patios, paving, horizontal surfaces, glazed brick, glazed tiles or damp surfaces. Do not apply to walls affected by reverse-side water penetration.

Tip:Always test a small area first to confirm substrate absorption and final appearance before full application.
