Diagnose fuel-delivery problems more accurately with the NovaCart Petrol Fuel Injection Pressure Tester Kit.

This specialised diagnostic set is designed to measure fuel pressure on selected petrol fuel-injection systems. The large analogue gauge provides clear pressure readings, while the supplied hoses, brass fittings, T-piece connector and clamps allow the kit to connect to a range of compatible fuel lines and service ports.

The kit can help identify possible fuel-pump weakness, blocked fuel lines, faulty pressure regulators, restricted filters and other fuel-delivery issues. It is suitable for mechanics, automotive technicians, workshops and experienced DIY users working on compatible petrol vehicles and small engines.

All components are stored in a durable red moulded carry case for convenient transport, organisation and protection.

This product is intended for low-pressure petrol fuel systems only. It is not suitable for diesel common-rail systems or high-pressure direct-injection engines.

This kit is suitable for selected petrol or gasoline fuel-injection systems.

It is not suitable for:

• diesel engines
• common-rail diesel systems
• high-pressure petrol direct-injection systems
• Bosch CIS or Jetronic systems
• selected GM throttle-body injection systems
• systems exceeding the gauge's confirmed working-pressure range

Always compare the vehicle's fuel-system specification and connection type with the supplied fittings before use.

How to Use

1. Switch off the engine and allow it to cool completely.
2. Relieve the fuel-system pressure according to the vehicle manufacturer's instructions.
3. Identify the correct fuel test port or suitable inline fuel-hose connection.
4. Select the appropriate hose, fitting or adapter from the kit.
5. Connect the gauge securely and confirm that all fittings are tight.
6. Start or crank the engine according to the vehicle's testing procedure.
7. Read the pressure on the gauge and compare it with the manufacturer's specification.
8. Switch off the engine and carefully relieve the system pressure before disconnecting the tester.
9. Inspect all connections for leaks and store the cleaned components in the case.
