It’s a chopping board. So don’t use the cleaver- get yourself the Butcher Buddy for that, please.
It does however protect the cutting edge of your fancy chef’s knife better than any other board. Meaning you won’t have to sharpen it that often.

Please refrain from soaking them in water, hot or cold, and needless to say- don’t ever put them in a dishwasher.
Wipe with a damp cloth or scrub with brush/sponge to remove dried residue, then rinse briefly and wipe DRY before reapplying vegetable oil or olive oil. They do like that a lot indeed.
