OptiMate Weatherproof SAE Socket, Panel Mount

The OptiMate CABLE O-40 is a weatherproof bulkhead panel-mount SAE power point. It is a drop-in replacement for the BMW, Triumph & Ducati 12V DIN 'Hella' socket. The connector body fits a Ø18mm (23/32") drilled hole. It provides a secure, rugged connection for battery chargers or SAE-equipped accessories, and can also serve as a drop-in replacement for OEM DIN/Hella sockets on many motorcycles.

Features:
- Front-mount panel design with rear fastener - secure and flush installation into panels from 1 mm thickness.
- 18 AWG / 0.82 mm cable (cable diameter)
- Thicker insulation for better protection. SPT-2 (1.2 mm)
- Current rating: 5 A continuous / 7 A max - suitable for SAE-equipped chargers and low-amp 12 V accessories.
- Weather- and dirt-protected SAE connection system, including an in-line rubber seal - helps safeguard the connection from water, dust, and corrosion, making it reliable in harsh or outdoor environments.
- Rated for low-temperature use: cable remains flexible even in freezing conditions down to -40 C ensuring dependable use in cold weather.
