Description

Outer door handle set for Volkswagen Citi Golf 1987+ (Chico and Golf mk 1)

Pull Type (Polo type)

Please look at the interior mechanism as there are two main types of pull handles on the market

This is not a Lift type (Corolla type)

Full black colour door handles - no silver stripe on handle

Set comes with 2 front outer door handles and 2 rear outer door handles

Include a set of keys

How to differentiate the handle and check if you order the correct handle type:

Look at the handle from the side:
If it's almost flush with the door and your fingers naturally go under it, it's a lift type.
If it protrudes more and your fingers naturally wrap around it from the outside, it's a pull type.

Check the interior mechanism as there are two main types of pull handles.

Full Black - simpler, more rugged mechanism - metal ring at the tip of the handle
Pull-Type with Chrome Stripe - tends to use a separate backing plate and slightly more refined latch system inside - plastic hook at the tip of the handle.
Please refer to the pictures for more clarity.

Note: product is aftermarket and not OEM

Please compare images with the sample and ensure the year model and specs matched before purchasing
