Overcomer

A novelization of the Kendrick Brothers’ highly anticipated sixth film Overcomer. A captivating story based on biblical themes from the book of Ephesians, Overcomer addresses the vital issue of spiritual identity in a unique and fresh way.

It follows the story of basketball coach John Harrison whose lifelong dream is to make it to the championships. However, his dreams are crushed when the largest manufacturing plant in town shuts down and hundreds of families leave. After reluctantly agreeing to coach cross-country, John meets an aspiring athlete who’s pushing her limits on a journey of discovery. Inspired by the words and prayers of a newfound friend, John becomes the least likely coach to help the least likely runner attempt the impossible in the biggest race of the year.
