Pets Elite Achilles Tendon Pack of 5 - Beef Tendon & Bone Chew

The Bestseller for a Reason:

Pets Elite Achilles Tendon is real beef Achilles tendon with a partial marrow bone still attached - thicker, meatier and significantly more substantial than a standard tendon chew. This is the Pack of 5, our most popular format, built for dogs that need a genuinely long-lasting, serious chewing challenge. It's the Pets Elite Ancestral Lifestyle in one of its most substantial forms, built on BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) principles: real ingredients, minimal processing, honest preparation.

Why the Attached Bone Matters:

Most tendon chews are exactly that - just tendon. Pets Elite Achilles Tendon goes further, keeping a portion of the marrow bone attached. That means extra collagen, glucosamine and chondroitin from both structures combined, naturally contributing to joint mobility and comfort, plus natural calcium from the bone itself for strong bones and healthy muscle. A genuinely more complete, more functional chew than tendon alone.

Built for Serious, Extended Chewing:

Rated 4-5/5 Hard to Very Hard on our Chewyness Scale, this is a firm, engaging chew that keeps determined chewers happily occupied for hours - a real, satisfying challenge rather than a quick snack.

Our Chewyness Scale: 1 = Very Soft | 2 = Soft | 3 = Medium Hard | 4 = Hard | 5 = Very Hard

A Note on Aroma:

This is a real, honestly prepared product with a strong natural smell - completely normal, and exactly what makes it so appealing to your dog.

Make It Even Better:

Here's a trick every Pets Elite regular knows - smear a little Pets Elite Peanut Butter for Dogs across a piece, or dunk one straight into Mutelo. The soft, flavour-packed topper against the firm base is a genuine favourite. Worth having a jar of either in the cupboard.

Key Benefits:

• Whole Tendon Plus Bone: Thicker, meatier and longer-lasting than tendon-only chews
• Naturally Rich in Collagen, Glucosamine & Chondroitin: Real joint mobility and comfort support
• Natural Calcium From the Bone: Contributes to strong bones and healthy muscle
• Also Supports Skin & Coat: Collagen naturally contributes to skin condition and coat quality
• Honestly Prepared: No grains, sugars, salts, colourants or artificial additives
• Our Bestseller: Pack of 5, the format our customers reach for most

Ingredients:

Beef (Achilles Tendon and Partial Marrow Bone), Vinegar (used in preparation for natural shelf stability).

Freshness Note:
This is a real meat product with no artificial preservatives, so once opened, always reseal the packet tightly between feeds. Extended exposure to air will dry the product out and affect freshness, and keeping it sealed also stops insects from getting to it - resealing after every use is the simplest way to keep it fresh and safe.

A Note on Natural Variation:

Each piece measures approximately 80×80mm. Size, shape and colour will vary naturally piece to piece - the honest reality of a real, whole-animal product. Quality never varies, character does.

Suitable For:

Dogs of all breeds matched to size | Determined and dedicated chewers | Dogs needing joint, bone, skin and coat support | Raw feeders and BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) diet enthusiasts

Not Recommended For:

Puppies, seniors, or dogs with dental sensitivity - this is a hard to very hard chew | Dogs that gulp treats whole without chewing

Feeding Tip:

Always supervise chewing and keep fresh water available. Wash hands after handling. Treats should stay under 10% of daily calorie intake.

Also Available:

Our Achilles Heel range (Single, Pack of 4 or Pack of 10) offers the same real tendon and bone combination in different quantities to suit your household.

What's in the Box:

5 × Pets Elite Achilles Tendon, approximately 80×80mm each. Sold by unit, natural variation applies.

About Pets Elite:

Founded in Cape Town in 2005, Pets Elite is one of the pioneers of natural dog treats and raw nutrition in South Africa. Our entire range is built around the Pets Elite Ancestral Lifestyle philosophy and the principles of the BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) diet: real animal protein, whole-animal nutrition, minimal processing and honest, natural preservation.

We avoid grains, sugars, salts, colourants and artificial additives - none of which offer any real benefit to dogs - producing treats designed to support long-term health, vitality and natural feeding instincts. We focus on human-grade meats, natural fats, traditional methods and gentle preservation - delivering food closer to what dogs' wild ancestors evolved to consume.

The result: treats made to support everyday vitality, help maintain a glossy coat and settled digestion, and encourage the natural energy that comes from eating real food.

Every treat we make reflects our promise: quality, integrity and pure pet joy.

Pets Elite Ancestral Lifestyle - real food for real dogs.
