Using sounds that were recorded, distorted, and finally arranged into compositions, Pierre Henry created a new kind of music: musique concrète. Though he provoked scandals in the 1950s, Henry later became an idol for a new generation of electronic artists. This documentary follows the composer as he collects sounds in Paris and reflects on his life in music.
