Planki Wax is a food safe wood treatment which you can use on any wooden surface that comes into contact with food, be it countertops, wooden cutting boards, butcher's block or any wooden utensils..

create nasty bacteria, does not absorb into the wood fibres of your block or utensils.

Planki Wax ingredients:
- Food grade mineral oil
- Pure Beeswax
Planki Oil is a food safe mineral oil designed to treat all wooden items that comes into contact with food like butcher's blocks, spoons, cutting boards and bowls.
Planki Oil is recommended for deep initial raw wood treatment.
Planki Oil i s easy to apply and dries quickly.
Planki Oil makes the wood more hydrophobic and resistant to water damage.
Planki Oil can also be used to protect your cast iron pots and pans from rust.
How to apply Planki Wax:
- Depending on how dehydrated the wood is, you can use your own discretion on how much Planki Wax is needed.
- You can use your hands or a paintbrush to apply Planki Wax to your choice of surface.
- Leave in the sun or heat with a hairdryer or heat gun to ensure that Planki Wax gets absorbed into the surface properly.
- If you feel it needs another coat, feel free to apply one.
- When you notice Planki Wax residue that did not absorb, it may be an indication that your surface is now sufficiently saturated with Planki Wax. Wipe the excess off with a cloth.
- It is best to use in conjunction with our product Planki Oil.
- Planki Oil is pure food grade mineral oil.
- If the wood is very dehydrated, then it is best to give it a deep treatment with Planki Oil and applying the Planki Wax to seal the wood.
- Apply Planki Wax after every wash to keep the wood from becoming dehydrated again.
