Description
The Pro-Art Steel Palette Knife Set contains 5 palette knives for mixing, spreading and manipulating artists' paints and suitable mediums. Use the blades to combine colours on a palette, spread paint across a surface, create textured marks or move paint without loading a brush. For mixing, place small amounts of colour on the palette and use the knife to fold and blend them until the desired colour is reached. For textured painting, vary the angle and pressure of the blade to create different marks and edges. Steel palette knives provide a firm, responsive tool, but they should be used with materials and surfaces that will not be damaged by the blade. Clean promptly after use and follow the care instructions for the paint or medium. Do not use these art tools as substitutes for heavy-duty cutting tools. The blades may have sharp edges, so handle carefully and keep away from children. Includes 5 steel palette knives.
