A healthy, beautiful garden offers a space for play and relaxation.  To ensure you have healthy lush lawn and foliage plants, you must fertilise regularly at the right times.   

 

Lawns and foliage plants need nitrogen (7 parts of nitrogen) to boost lush, green growth, phosphorus (1 part phosphorus) which supports root development and potassium (3 parts potassium) which assists plants withstanding stress from drought, pests and disease.   Protek’s Lawn & Foliage Fertiliser 7:1:3 is specially formulated for lawns and foliage and releases nutrients fast for a quick boost.  It should be spread evenly on lawns, preferably with a fertiliser applicator to ensure even application every 4 – 6 weeks.  Timing is important - applying fertiliser when the plants grow actively during the high growing season, especially in spring and early summer is essential.  Avoid over-fertilization and water after fertilising to prevent chemical burns.
