Description
This soft, aromatic, multi-stemmed perennial shrub, with its greyish-green, feathery leaves, is indigenous to the mountainous regions of South Africa. Its botanical name, Artemisia afra, derives from the Greek goddess Artemis. One of the most well-known and commonly used healing plants in Southern Africa.
FRAGRANCE
Sharp and herbaceous, with a resinous, sweet-bitter warmth. Camphoraceous and green, with a pungent, sticky-sweet character typical of wild Southern African veld plants.
