FABRIC SUITABILITY: SUITABLE FOR NATURAL FIBRES (COTTON, LINEN, SILK, WOOL) AND SELECT SYNTHETICS (NYLON, RAYON). NOT SUITABLE FOR 100% POLYESTER, ACRYLIC, ACETATE, SPANDEX, OR LEATHER. IF YOUR FABRIC CONTAINS MORE THAN 35% POLYESTER, USE RIT DYEMORE INSTEAD.

WATER TEMPERATURE: REQUIRES VERY HOT TAP WATER (APPROX. 60 C).

APPLICATION METHOD: CAN BE USED IN A BUCKET, SINK, TUB OR WASHING MACHINE.

ADDITIVES REQUIRED: ADDING 1 CUP OF SALT IS REQUIRED FOR COTTON/NATURAL FIBRES. ADDING 1 CUP OF WHITE VINEGAR IS REQUIRED FOR NYLON/SILK/WOOL.

EVEN APPLICATION: FABRIC MUST BE UNCRUMPLED AND ABLE TO MOVE FREELY. DO NOT OVERCROWD THE CONTAINER. CONSTANT STIRRING/AGITATION FOR THE FIRST 10 MINUTES IS ESSENTIAL TO PREVENT SPLOTCHING OR PATCHY COLOUR.

BASE COLOUR: DYE IS TRANSPARENT AND ADDS TO EXISTING COLOUR. IT WILL NOT DYE DARK APPAREL TO A LIGHTER COLOUR-USE RIT COLOR REMOVER FIRST TO STRIP OLD DYE.
