A robotic vacuum cleaner and mop that actually finishes the job. It digs pet hair out of your carpets, scrubs your hard floors, then cleans and dries its own mops, so you're not left doing the parts it skipped.
Before the mop runs, the Hydro clears the floor first. On other robots the roller tangles with hair and leaves grit behind, so their mop just smears dirty water over it. Ours scrubs a floor that's already clean.
Why people pick the Hydro
No more tangled rollers: the front roller runs a bristle blade and a rubber blade side by side, split across the middle with a gap, so pet hair drops into the centre instead of wrapping, and you never get down on the floor to cut hair off by hand.
Gets right into the carpet: the stiff bristle blade reaches deep into the pile and rakes out the grit and hair a single rubber roller just skims over.
Scrubs, not smears: two spinning mop pads work your tiles and laminate like a hand mop, lifting sticky spills and paw prints instead of pushing a damp cloth around.
The dock does the dirty work: it empties the used water, refills with fresh, adds its own detergent, then washes the mop pads and dries them with hot air, so they never go musty and you never touch a dirty mop.
Knows your home: it cleans in neat rows with rooms, schedules and areas you can block off, and it lifts the mop on rugs so they stay dry.
Strong where it counts: powerful suction with an automatic boost on carpets.
The detail, in plain English
Powerful suction: lifts embedded dust and pet hair, with extra power on carpets (10,000Pa with carpet boost).
Looks after its own mops: two rotating pads scrub the floor, then the dock washes them and dries them with hot air (no musty smell, no dirty mop to handle).
Never gets lost: it scans and remembers your home, then cleans in neat rows (laser mapping, LiDAR with SLAM, multiple floors).
The brush that sets it apart: one front roller that runs a bristle blade and a rubber blade side by side, split across the middle with a gap, so hair drops into the centre and can't tangle.
Fewer trips to the tap: big 4L clean and 4L dirty water tanks in the dock, plus a 1L dust bag or 800ml bin in the robot.
Cleans a big home, then recharges itself: up to 240 minutes on a charge, then it docks and tops up (5200mAh battery, up to 5 hours to fully charge).
Works with your phone and your voice: connects over WiFi, takes commands through Google Assistant and Alexa.
Good to know
The dock does the gross part so you don't have to: it dumps the dirty mop water and pours in fresh water and detergent. No buckets, no slop. The one thing it won't do is empty the dust, that lands in a bag clipped to the dust box on the robot, and you swap it out by hand now and then. Takes ten
seconds, hands stay clean. So: water, fully automatic. Dust, a quick manual swap. That's the only chore it leaves you.
