Rule of Reason

A boy with dreams

in a regime that shapes horrors

Raf Lengahr, shaped by his Reordan father's ambition, his northern mother's silence, and the knowledge that her kin are Touched by Light, strives to prove to everyone that despite his northern looks he's the most faithful son of the Hand of Reason.

As he crosses paths with the Touched, some encounters cement his fanatical beliefs and solidify his childhood dream of becoming a Defender of the Hand while others make him question everything he thinks he knows.

To fulfil his aspirations, Raf will give himself over, body and soul, to the Hand of Reason.

From childhood innocence to the forfeiture of self, RULE OF REASON shows how regimes of hatred make monsters.
