IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ BEFORE USING THE STEAM FUNCTION
To ensure the iron operates correctly and to avoid water dripping or leaking, it is very important that the iron is used according to the instructions below.
Correct Steam Iron Usage
- Fill the water tank only up to the MAX level indicated.
- Set the temperature dial to the correct heat setting for the fabric being ironed.
- Allow the iron to fully heat up before activating the steam function.
- Wait until the indicator light cycles or the iron reaches full operating temperature before pressing the steam or spray buttons.
- Using steam before the iron is hot enough may cause water droplets or leaking from the soleplate - this is normal for most steam irons if used before reaching temperature.
- For best steam performance, use medium to high heat settings when using steam.
- When ironing at low temperatures, use the dry ironing function instead of steam.
- After use, empty remaining water from the tank and store the iron upright.
Important Notes
- Steam irons require sufficient heat to convert water into steam properly.
- If the iron is used before reaching operating temperature, water may escape from the steam vents.
- This is a usage-related issue and does not necessarily indicate a product defect.
