Description

Check your towing connection before heading onto the road with the Satrayana 7-Pin Trailer Socket Tester.

Designed for compatible ISO 1724 towing connections, this compact tester helps check the electrical circuits on both the vehicle socket and the trailer plug. It provides a practical way to identify missing or incorrect circuit output before connecting a caravan, boat trailer, utility trailer or other compatible towing equipment.

The clearly labelled LED panel displays the condition of individual lighting circuits, including the left and right indicators, tail lights, brake light and fog-light connection. Colour-coded wire references make it easier to compare the test result with the standard 7-pin wiring layout.

For vehicle-side testing, connect the tester directly to the vehicle's 7-pin socket and activate the relevant lights or indicators. The corresponding LED will illuminate when output is detected.

For trailer-side testing, connect the trailer plug to the opposite end of the tester and use the yellow side button as indicated on the unit. This allows the trailer wiring circuits to be checked without repeatedly connecting and disconnecting the trailer from the towing vehicle.

Its handheld shape, visible LED indicators and plug-and-play operation make it a useful tool for vehicle owners, trailer users, workshops and towing-equipment installers.

Practical Testing from Both Sides

Vehicle Socket Check

Connect the tester to the vehicle's 7-pin towing socket and activate each electrical function individually.

The LED panel helps check output for circuits such as:

  • Left indicator
  • Rear fog-light circuit
  • Right indicator
  • Right tail light
  • Brake light
  • Left tail light

Trailer Plug Check

Connect the trailer's 7-pin plug to the trailer-check side of the tester.

Press the yellow side button to run the trailer-side check and observe the LED indicators for the corresponding circuits.
