This Seiko men's Essentials chronograph combines a 43.9 mm stainless-steel case with a blue dial, blue ion-plated tachymeter bezel and silver-tone stainless-steel bracelet.

Powered by the Seiko 8T63 quartz calibre, the chronograph features three sub-dials displaying 60 seconds, 30 minutes and 12/24-hour time.

The blue dial features luminous silver-tone hands and index markers, with an Arabic numeral at 12 o'clock and minute markers around the outer rim. A date display sits between 4 and 5 o'clock, while scratch-resistant Hardlex crystal protects the dial.

The watch is completed with a 20 mm stainless-steel bracelet, fold-over clasp and 100 m / 330 ft water resistance.

About Seiko

Seiko's history began in 1881, when Kintaro Hattori opened a watch and clock business in Tokyo, Japan. Over the following decades, Seiko developed into one of Japan's major watch manufacturers, producing its own mechanical and quartz movements.

A major milestone came in 1969, when Seiko introduced the Quartz Astron, recognised as the world's first commercially available quartz wristwatch.
