SEIKO Prospex PADI Special Edition Diver Automatic Green Watch -SRPL53K1

The Seiko Prospex SRPL53K1 is a PADI Special Edition diver's watch created to celebrate the partnership between Seiko Prospex and PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors). Designed with Seiko's established dive-watch heritage in mind, this model combines a distinctive emerald-green dial with a robust stainless-steel case, automatic mechanical movement and 200-metre diver's water resistance.

The emerald-green gradient dial is inspired by the shimmering light and rippling surface of the ocean as seen from underwater. The dial is complemented by LumiBrite-treated hands and indexes for excellent visibility in low-light conditions, while the matching unidirectional rotating bezel provides practical elapsed-time measurement for diving.

The watch is powered by Seiko's reliable Caliber 4R35 automatic movement, which can also be manually wound. The movement contains 23 jewels and provides an approximate 41-hour power reserve. A stop-second function allows the seconds hand to stop when setting the time, while the date display provides everyday practicality.

The 41.7mm stainless-steel case has a thickness of 12.3mm and a lug-to-lug measurement of 49.5mm, giving the watch a substantial yet balanced presence on the wrist. The Hardlex crystal protects the dial, while the screw-down crown and screw case back contribute to the watch's 200m / 660ft diver's water resistance.

The stainless-steel bracelet is fitted with a three-fold clasp featuring a secure lock, push-button release and extender. With a 20mm lug width and a bracelet length of approximately 205mm, the watch is designed for secure and comfortable wear.

As a PADI Special Edition, the case back is marked "SPECIAL EDITION", making the SRPL53K1 a distinctive addition to the Seiko Prospex collection.
