Sfera Maca Extract 60 Capsules

Lepidium meyenii, also known as Maca or Peruvian ginseng, is an edible herby plant native to the Andes mountains of Peru. According to the legends, the Spaniards noticed that the reproductive rate of their domestic animals and the man himself had an increased reproductive rate in the Andean highlands than in Spain. The chronicles contain frequent references to this phenomenon. It is said that the Peruvian natives recommended feeding maca to the animals and that the Spaniards noticed the positive effect of this food. The Maca root is used as a traditional medicine with reported benefits of supporting emotional aspects of sexual health, supporting healthy mood balance and acting as a source of antioxidants. The Sfera Maca Extract is made using a Lepidium meyenii extracted in a 4:1 ratio, with the purpose of increasing the concentrations of bioactive compounds per dosage such as anti-oxidants.

Ingredients

One vegetarian capsule provides Lepidium meyenii (Yellow Maca) [root, 4:1 extract] 420 mg. Other ingredients: Vegetarian capsule, microcrystalline cellulose, and natural flow agent. Please take note: Yellow Maca refers to the colour of the root, variance in taste and antioxidants.

Directions

Take one (1) to three (3) capsules daily with water on an empty stomach, at least one hour before or two hours after a meal, or as directed by your health care provider. The dose can be divided during the day, preferably in the mornings and mid-day.

if you are a woman with hormone-sensitive conditions you should avoid Sfera Maca Extract. Some of these conditions include breast, uterine and ovarian cancers, endometriosis, and uterine fibroids.

Children and adolescents: Children and adolescents under the age of 18 years should not take Sfera Maca Extract.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, please consult your doctor, pharmacist, or other health care provider for advice before taking this medicine.
