The 1818 Fight Gum Guard is a mouldable mouthguard designed to help protect your teeth, gums, and jaw during contact-based training. Whether you are learning the basics, joining your first sparring session, or training regularly, this gum guard gives you a secure and comfortable layer of protection where it matters most.
Made with a dual-layer design, the gum guard combines a mouldable inner layer with a firmer outer layer to help absorb and spread impact during contact. This helps reduce direct pressure on the teeth and soft tissue, giving both youth and adult users added protection during sparring, pad work, drills, and controlled impact training.
The boil-and-bite fit allows the gum guard to shape around your teeth for a more personalised feel. A better fit helps keep the guard in place while you train, reducing movement in the mouth and making it easier to breathe, focus, and communicate between rounds. Correct fitting also improves comfort, which is important for longer training sessions.
The low-profile shape is designed to reduce unnecessary bulk, so the gum guard feels less distracting during use. It sits over the upper teeth and supports a stable fit without making the mouth feel overly full, helping users stay focused on movement, timing, defence, and control.

Fitting Instructions:
Boil water and pour into a container.
Submerge the gum guard for 30 to 90 seconds until softened.
Remove and allow to cool briefly.
Position over the upper teeth.
Bite down and apply pressure to shape.
Hold for 30 seconds.
Cool under cold water.
Check fit and repeat if required.
