ABOUT THE PRODUCT

The Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 DC DN Contemporary is a compact standard zoom lens designed for E-Mount APS-C mirrorless cameras. With a 35mm equivalent focal length range of 27-75mm, the lens supports landscapes, portraits, street photography, architecture, events, and video applications. The constant f/2.8 aperture supports low-light shooting and depth of field control throughout the zoom range. Its optical design includes three aspherical elements and one SLD element to reduce distortion, spherical aberrations, and chromatic aberrations. A stepping autofocus motor provides fast and near-silent autofocus performance for photography and video recording. The lens also features a dust- and splash-proof construction and close focusing capability for macro-style shooting.
