​Sikalite® is a powdered waterproofing admixture designed to enhance the water resistance of Portland cement and sand mortars. By integrating Sikalite® into your mortar mixes, you can effectively prevent moisture penetration in various construction applications. ​

Recommended Applications:

Sikalite® is suitable for waterproofing applications on walls, facades, floor toppings, and jointing mortars. It is commonly used in:​

• Walls and Facades: Enhances the durability and water resistance of exterior walls and facades.​

• Floor Toppings: Provides a waterproof layer for floor surfaces, protecting against moisture ingress.​

• Jointing Mortars: Improves the water resistance of mortars used for jointing applications.​

 

Mixing Instructions:

To achieve optimal waterproofing results, add 1 kg of Sikalite® per 50 kg of Portland cement (i.e., 2% by weight of cement). Mix Sikalite® thoroughly with dry Portland cement and sand before adding water to ensure even distribution throughout the mortar mix. ​

 

Packaging and Storage:

Sikalite® is available in 1 kg, 25 kg, and 200 kg packages. Store the product in a dry area between 5ºC and 40ºC, protected from direct sunlight. The shelf life is 12 months when kept in its original, unopened container.
