Silver Brush Black Velvet 3 Pcs Variety Set - Short Handle

The Silver Brush Black Velvet 3pc Variety Set is designed for watercolour artists and skilled hobbyists who want a well-rounded mix of brush types in one kit. Each brush is crafted with a luxurious five-diamond blend of squirrel hair and black synthetic fibres, soft enough to lay down colour without disturbing previous layers, yet firm enough to lift colour when needed. The set includes a Black Velvet round brush in size 0, a Black Velvet script liner in size 1, and a Black Velvet square wash in size 1/4, together suited to backgrounds, line work and scrollwork. Each brush features a short handle finished in sophisticated black lacquer. While designed primarily for watercolour, these brushes also pair well with gouache, liquid acrylics, inks and dyes.

This set is built for artists who want a compact yet versatile combination covering several techniques in one kit. The Black Velvet blend carries more colour from palette to surface than many other watercolour brushes, giving artists more time to focus on their work rather than reloading colour. The round brush suits fine detail and scrollwork, the script liner is ideal for precise line work, and the square wash brush handles small background areas. The short, lacquered handles provide comfortable, consistent control across all three brushes. Together, this trio offers a versatile starting point for a range of watercolour techniques.
